Humidity control has faced several challenges over the years, with defective or out-of-calibration humidity sensors often causing unreliable performance. These issues have hindered fully automated humidity control systems.

BTU Ventilation has developed its own Centrifugal Humidifier designed to pair with the advanced logic and precision control of the BTU XT Control Panel.

The XT control panel introduces a better methodology to address these concerns by closely monitoring the humidity in the storage and adjusting the output of the humidifier from %0 – %100 automatically. Traditional systems operate like a thermostat, turning the humidifier off when the humidity reading is above the setpoint and on when it falls below. The BTU method allows for precise and efficient humidity control by only using the necessary water and not over saturating the air with free water. This approach eliminates long periods when humidifiers are either on or off and ensures a consistent supply of the proper amount of water to the humidifier, maintaining precise plenum humidity.

The XT, using these adjustments alongside the Humidity Setpoint, maintains precise plenum humidity and eliminates extended periods without humidity due to a fault sensor.
